Your integration works with your test key. Now your vehicles can reserve real spots.
Going live is mostly a change of key. But check a few things first: from now on, every spot you hold is one another vehicle cannot have.
Before you switch
Make sure that:
- Your company is approved, so you can make a live key. See Getting an API key.
- Your key is only on your servers.
- Every POST and PATCH sends an
Idempotency-Key. Then a call you retry never reserves twice. See Idempotency. - You send a
Lanoo-Version, so a new version never surprises you. - You cancel holds you will not use, so another vehicle can have the spot.
- You check out every vehicle when it leaves.
- You receive webhooks, so you hear when a hold runs out or a staging area closes. See Receiving webhooks.
Switch your key
Make a live key in the console, and put it on your servers in place of your test key.
The address stays the same. Your vehicles now reserve at real staging areas, so find them with List staging areas.
