This website counts its visitors with Google Analytics, but only if you say yes. Until you do, it sets no cookies and sends nothing to Google Analytics. It has no accounts and no advertising. This page says what happens when you visit or write to us.

Analytics, if you say yes
The first time you visit, we ask whether we may use cookies to see how the site is used. If you choose Allow all, Google Analytics counts your visit: which pages you look at, how you arrived, roughly where you are (country and city, worked out from your IP address), and what device and browser you use. It sets two cookies to tell a returning visitor from a new one, _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, which last up to two years.
We use it only to see which pages are read and how people find us. Google Analytics does not log or store your IP address. Google processes the data for us, and it may be transferred to the United States, where Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Our legal basis is your consent.
If you choose Reject all, nothing is sent and no analytics cookies are set. You can change your answer at any time under Cookie settings at the foot of every page; saying no afterwards removes the cookies.
What else this website does not do
- No advertising, and nothing sold to anyone.
- Your browser keeps two small notes of its own, which never leave it: the theme you picked in the footer, and your answer about cookies.
- No forms that send anything to us. The contact form opens your own email program with your message filled in; nothing reaches us unless you send that email. The sign-in page sends nothing: the console is not open yet.
When you email us
If you write to us, we receive your name, your email address and whatever you include. We use it only to reply and to follow up on what you asked about, and we keep it no longer than that conversation is useful. Our email is hosted by Microsoft.
We rely on our legitimate interest in answering you, or, if you are asking about working with us, on the steps before an agreement.
What our providers see
Some things a website cannot do without a provider seeing your IP address:
- Analytics. Only if you say yes; see above.
- Hosting. The site is served by Firebase Hosting, part of Google. Like any web server, it receives your IP address and basic browser details in order to deliver the pages, and may keep them in logs for a short time for security.
- Maps. The maps on the Platform and Robotaxi companies in Europe pages load from OpenFreeMap, which receives your IP address when a map loads.
Fonts and videos are served from our own site.
Links to other sites
Articles link to their sources, and the footer has buttons that open ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini with a question about us. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you follow a link.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it, by writing to hello@golanoo.com. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet.
When this changes
When the console opens or we start collecting data in any other way, we will update this page first, and the date above will show when. We last changed it to add analytics.
